Demonslayers was created by myself, Kenneth Thomson Jr., in 1984, as a short novel, which I completed in 1986. To help make (and pay for) my medieval costumes, I apprenticed as an armorer and assisted my friends Max Engel of North Star Armory, and Conor (Rollie Reid) who later founded Red Dragon Armory.

Conor starred in the student film with me, and Max and he put together several suits of armor, which I used to make four Demonslayers short films, over the course of my college days. My good friend, and co-producer, Jeffrey A. Bryars also helped tremendously in the making of costumes, and acted in the films with me. I had many more friends who donated their time and effort to the early productions, which ran from 1987-1992.

Now, in the 21st Century, I'm moving into a whole new production, with new special effects technology, taking my original story, and expanding it, to tell compelling stories of valor and the imagination, and the depths of human fear, and the terrors it can drive us to.

My intent is to create a new version of the original story (which has expanded considerably in the last sixteen years). I plan to have a graphic novel, and a combination live action/animated series, for television, or internet. I'm also interested in the possibility of a feature film.
