of the new site: Demonslayers.org
has been registered and will soon be activated. It's a less graphically
intensive version of the main site, with no frames, and is better for
low resolution web surfing. The pages are nearly
complete, I just have to resolve some hosting issues and it will be
available to browse. Also, recent troubles with my main hosting service
have caused some inconveniences in accessing Demonslayers.com, but those
should be soon resolved as well. Thank you for your patience while we
get settled in for the long haul. :) "Demonslayers" Trailer Production: January 2001-March 2001 Pre-production continues on Demonslayers. 3d models are being built, and locations scouting is underway. Hopefully the trailer will go into actual production shooting in the near future. November/December 2000 As of November, the plan is to begin Trailer production in January of 2001. Pre-production efforts are underway. (The production team is being assembled at this time. If you are interested in being part of this production, and are a 3d artist, or have medieval costumes or armor available, either for temporary loan or rental, and live in the area of Southern California, we'd be glad for your help. I'm also seeking talented actors who're willing to work on spec for the trailer production. Also, I'm searching for someone local with a vacuformer, so we can duplicate our armor in lightweight plastics. So if you've made your own Stormtrooper costume, you might be who we're looking for, although we're going to be creating entirely different types of armor. Makeup artists with skills in prosthetic makeup are also needed. Please contact me directly if you're interested. Kenneth Thomson Jr.) October 2000 The
trailer script is complete. Demonslayers will be a combination of live
action and computer animation, which will give us the best of both worlds!
Cast
for the trailer is being recruited. "The Great War of Magellan" Production: November/December 2000 The special effects for The Great War of Magellan are coming along nicely. We're hot to finish this eagerly awaited production. Several new artists have joined the team. A making of trailer is being shown now at some of the conventions. We'll keep you posted on our progress! October 2000 The project is really coming together. Mike McAdams has done some awesome new animation sequences! It's going to be great! The new web site is being created, and will soon be posted, thanks to the tireless efforts of Michael Faries, who also maintains the Battlestar Galactica, and Captain Sulu/ Excelsior sites, as well as the Space 1999 site. He's a busy man! When you're done here, click on some of the links above to visit some of the sites! "Unseen" Production: November/December 2000 As of this writing on December 14th, we've completed the majority of this film. If all goes well, we'll be done with our part shortly. In a related project, "Iron Thunder," another film starring Richard Hatch and Directed by Jay Woelfel is available for rental in video stores across the country. This film was done before Mike and I knew either Richard or Jay, but Mike did do the box cover for it last summer. "Unseen" stars Richard Hatch and Tim Tomerson. It was directed by Jay Woelfel and produced by Johnnie Young for Sterling Entertainment. Jay and Johnnie were the also co-director and co-producer of "Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming". BSG2ND CGI artists, Mike McAdams and Kenneth Thomson Jr. are creating special effects for Unseen. We recently helped complete their promotional trailer, and are hard at work finishing their film as your read this.
