The first signs of a second season of Kimetsu No Yaiba were unveiled during a conference at Madfest (Madman Anime Festival) in Australia .

It is one of the most valued anime of this time, on October 12, 2019 it began airing with resounding success.

After the last aired episodes of the Koyoharu Gotōge animated adaptation , fans were looking forward to the continuation of the story, and after the end of the anime, everything seems to indicate that a second season will indeed come, but when will it happen?

Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 2

A second season could be confirmed thanks to a Twitter post by the well-known anime informant “Yonkou” :

” Tanjirou’s story will continue, the production hopes you enjoy Demon Slayer, ” he said via @YonkouProd .

Followers took that comment as an indication of a second part of the anime, but perhaps it could be a movie (which already has a release date).

The episode 26 of Kimetsu No Yaiba not end with the story of the manga, but what comes first?

There are great possibilities of a sequel, because the manga contains 16 volumes, but until an official statement arrives, we cannot make the leap of joy.

What we do know for sure is that before a second part, the Kimetsu No Yaiba film will arrive , we already have everything you want to know, but let’s review the story a bit:

Synopsis

Tanjirou Kamado is a good-hearted and intelligent young man, living with his family and selling coal to earn money. When his family is attacked and killed by a mysterious demon, everything will change.

Tanjirou has a sister: Nezuko , they are the only survivors of the deadly attack, but there is one detail: Nezuko was turned into a demon.

To help his sister become human, Tanjirou will become a demon slayer, and will seek revenge for the death of his parents.

By becoming a demon, Nezuko acquired powers such as changing the size and height of their bodies.

Kimetsu No Yaiba , The Infinite Train: The Movie

The center of action: the Demon Train Arc, one of the most exciting parts of the manga. The story of the film ranges from episode 6 of volume 6: Cruel and Heartless to episode 66 of volume 8: Scattering Into Dawn .

Everything indicates that it will be the long battle between Tanjiro, Inosuke , Zenitsu and Rengoku  with one of the Lower Moons, all inside the train.

Official Synopsis

The train passengers, including the hunters, will fall asleep due to the power of the Lower Moon, who uses humans in his plans. Its end? Destroy the core of the spirit that is within each one.

Demon hunters will awaken from their dreams to end the Lower Moon. But, the Superior Three Moon will appear in front of them, to the surprise of Tanjiro and del Pilar. what will happen?

First Trailer

In the first preview of “The Infinite Train” , it can be seen that it coincides with the end of the first season and also, the demon appears; but Nezuko’s disappearance is surprising: we don’t see her in the trailer!

Fans are hoping Nezuko will appear alongside other characters in the second trailer installment or in the movie (to make it more exciting).

Release date

The film will arrive in 2020, but we will be attentive to the publication of a second trailer where the beloved Nezuko appears .
